What we store
Your User ID, your email if you add one, a scrambled (hashed) version of your password, and the
transactions, settings and balances you enter.
Where it is stored
The database is hosted by Neon and the app by Render. Emails (verification and password reset codes)
are sent through Brevo.
Receipt scanning
When you use Scan Receipt, the photos are sent to Google (Gemini) to read them. FINSTRIDE does not keep the
photos; what was read is kept for up to 1 day while you save its entries. During testing this uses Google's free service, where Google may use what is sent to improve its
products.
Your control
You can download all your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. A deleted account is
locked at once and permanently removed, with all its data, 30 days later; logging in before then keeps it.
A paid plan deleted before its end is refunded for the days left from the day you asked. Accounts without a
verified email are deleted after 30 days without a login.
